Ivan started training Jiu-Jitsu in 2018. He has participated in numerous competitions over the years.
In 2019/2022/2023 he became multiple champion of "EEBJJF" GI. Multiple champion of "SJJIF" 2019/2022/20 Gi & No-Gi.Multiple runner-up in Sofia Open No-Gi.
2022/2023/2024.Multiple ISFA Champion 2019/2021.Republican Runner-Up in Category and Republican Absolute Champion in Advanced, 2022. Absolute Gi Champion and No-Gi Champion in Category up to 93 kg. American Wrestling Federation GI 2024
Ivan has a brown belt under Stefan Sandev, who is the lead trainer and creator of the BJJ Sandev Fight Team.
In February 2021, they established a branch in Plovdiv.
